The multi-year partnership brings together creative innovation, specialist manufacturing and a shared commitment to the transformation of St Helen’s Stadium.
Ospreys Rugby has announced a new partnership with South Wales-based JD3 Creative, appointing the company as its Official Signage Partner.
The partnership sees JD3 Creative play a significant role in the ongoing redevelopment and transformation of St Helen’s Stadium, delivering a comprehensive programme of signage, branding and visual communications throughout the historic Swansea venue.
Based at Baglan Energy Park, JD3 Creative brings together branding, creative design and technical innovation, supported by the specialist in-house manufacturing capabilities of JD3 Sign Makers. Combining traditional craftsmanship with modern engineering and advanced production technologies, the business delivers projects from initial concept through to manufacture and installation.
JD3 works with businesses and organisations across the UK and internationally, with experience delivering projects for major brands including Guinness, Sony, L'Oréal, Legal & General and MasterCard.
At St Helen’s, the company’s work encompasses large-format stadium branding, pitch-side advertising, hospitality environments, commercial partner installations, safety signage and visitor wayfinding, supporting the club’s ambitions to enhance the matchday experience and create new opportunities for its commercial partners.
A partnership built on shared ambition
Jeremy Stephens, Director of JD3 Creative, said: “Strong partnerships are built on trust, collaboration and shared ambition. From our earliest discussions with Ospreys, it was clear that both organisations were committed to achieving something meaningful.
“St Helen’s holds an important place in Swansea’s sporting heritage, and its redevelopment represents a significant investment in the future of professional rugby in the city. We’ve seen first-hand the commitment and determination involved in transforming such a historic venue.
“For us, this partnership goes beyond signage. It brings together our creative expertise, technical innovation and in-house manufacturing capabilities to contribute to a much wider programme of development.
“As a South Wales business, we’re particularly proud to be involved in a project of this significance on our doorstep. It’s an opportunity to demonstrate the quality of creative and manufacturing expertise available locally, while supporting an organisation that plays such an important role in our community.
“We look forward to building a lasting relationship with Ospreys and contributing to the continued development of St Helen’s.”
Enhancing the stadium experience
Liam Dobell, Director of Commercial, Communications and Marketing for the Ospreys, said: “Bringing St Helen’s into its next chapter is an important milestone for this club, and to do it properly we need partners who believe in it as much as we do.
“JD3 Creative have shown from day one that they understand what we’re building. As well as their creative and manufacturing expertise, they’ve brought a real willingness to work alongside us, adapt when things change and find practical solutions along the way.
“It’s especially pleasing to be working with a local business that cares about Swansea and the wider community as much as we do. We want St Helen’s to be a home our supporters are proud of and a first-class setting for our partners, and we’re delighted to have JD3 with us on that journey.”
