Ospreys in the Community is proud to announce the return of its hugely successful TACKLE After Dark programme to Bridgend. The relaunch event will take place on Wednesday 5th November from 17:00–19:00 at the Bridgend Bowls Club Car Park - a stone’s throw from the Brewery Field, the home of the Ospreys for the 25/26 season.
TACKLE After Dark provides young people with a safe, inclusive, and engaging space to take part in evening sports and activities. The programme aims to promote physical health, teamwork, and positive behaviour, while helping to reduce anti-social activity and strengthen community connections.
In 2024, the programme saw reports of anti-social behaviour in Bridgend drop by 66% from January 2023 to June 2024.
Now, the relaunch marks an exciting new chapter as South Wales Police, Ospreys in the Community and Bridgend County Borough Council team work collaboratively to bring even more opportunities for local engagement and development through sport.
Attendees at the event can look forward to weekly fun sessions, along with the mobile youth Bus being in attendance with more interactive activities available.
The launch event is open to all participants form 11-18 years old.
