Sinclair Land Rover and Ospreys in the Community officially launched their Beyond Ordinary initiative this week, dedicated to blending extraordinary adventure with meaningful impact on the local community.
At the heart of this partnership is the belief that shared challenges can drive significant change. The first chapter of Beyond Ordinary began this week, with four members embarking on a gruelling, high-stakes endurance test: the Transalpine Run.
The Transalpine Run involves a seven-day trail running stage race across the Alps, covering over 250 kilometres and 15,000 meters of elevation.
The primary focus of this challenge is to raise essential funds with Ospreys in the Community for the Ospreys Junior Wheelchair Rugby Team. This will help to provide these young athletes with the vital, specialist equipment they need to compete and develop with.
Tom Sloane, Community Foundation Director for Ospreys in the Community, said: “We are thrilled to be working alongside Sinclair Land Rover for Beyond Ordinary. This is an incredible challenge that they are taking part in and the impact that the journey will have back home is something special. By raising money for our Junior Wheelchair Rugby team, we are ensuring that this adventure creates a lasting legacy for some truly inspiring young people.”
