Ospreys in the Community (OitC) are delighted to announce that Electrical Wholesale Specialists Ltd (EWS) as the official sponsor of Ospreys in the Community’s Club Nights and their Beach Rugby Series.
While this marks their first official partnership with OitC, Electrical Wholesale Specialists have long supported the foundation. EWS Director, Eddy Evans, has been a committed advocate for a number of years, taking part in numerous charity golf days and joining two of the OitC Ride2Rugby initiatives, cycling hundreds of miles and raising significant funds in the process.
Thanks to EWS’s support, OitC Club Nights will continue to support grassroots rugby by helping community clubs recruit more young players and strengthen local engagement.
This partnership with EWS Neath will allow Club Nights to run throughout the upcoming season, inspiring greater youth participation and development within local rugby clubs.
OitC’s Club Nights play a crucial role in growing the game at the community level, offering opportunities for youngsters to train alongside Ospreys players, who regularly attend to coach, inspire, and mentor emerging talent.
Club coaches also benefit, learning new techniques and ideas from the OitC team as they lead the sessions. Across the season, OitC aims to deliver 20 Club Nights, engaging over 2,500 minis and juniors, while also hosting CPD (continuing professional development) sessions for coaches.
The partnership will also include the ever popular Primary Beach Rugby Series, taking place on Swansea Bay, Aberavon beach & Rest Bay, with over 2300 kids expected, this series will be our biggest yet!
