U18s fixtures announced as Ospreys look to defend Regional Age Grade Championship crown

The schedule for the u18 Regional Academy Championship has been confirmed, the Ospreys face off against the Scarlets, Cardiff, Dragons and RGC.

The season will be split in two halves, with the initial run taking place from now until the middle of September. There will then be a break in the season, before the boys return to action in January. All of the games are Sunday fixtures and will be kicking off at 2:30pm

With the first round kicking off this weekend, the Ospreys will be looking to defend their crown, having won the competition the last two seasons on the trot.

Ospreys kick off their campaign with a home fixture against their west Wales rivals, the Scarlets, taking place at The Gnoll on Sunday 16^th August.

Round Two sees the Ospreys travel to the Arms Park to face Cardiff, with that game taking place on the 23^rdAugust. Ospreys then host the Dragons in Round Three, with that one also taking place at The Gnoll on the 30^th August.

The fourth round is a bye week for the club, and then it’s a trip to Parc Eirias for Round Five with the Ospreys set to take on RGC on the 13^th September.

The boys then head into the break, before returning with a home game against Cardiff, with this one set to take place at St Helen’s on the 3^rd Jan. It’s then a trip to Ystrad Mynach to face the Dragons on the 10^th January before the Ospreys’ second scheduled bye week in Round Eight.

With just two rounds remaining to stake their place in yet another final, the Ospreys host RGC at St Helen’s on the 24^th January before closing the regular season with a trip to Llandovery RFC to face the Scarlets.

The final is then scheduled to take place the 4^th February, with more information on that game to follow.
