Ospreys vs Hollywoodbets Sharks: Ones to Watch

Ospreys vs Hollywoodbets Sharks. Friday Night Lights at the Twickenham Stoop. The first BKT URC game in London, need we say more?

Let’s get into Ones to Watch.

Curwyn Bosch

Bosch was a standout performer when the Ospreys played the Sharks in Durban last season. The fly half came away with 15 of the Sharks’ 25 points and was an influential player. A pacy player, Bosch has an instinctive ability to create havoc with opposition defences.

Bosch is a gifted kicker, don’t be surprised if he comes up with a drop goal attempt or two.

Aphele Fassi

Fassi is an out and out dangerman. In fact, his previous attacking displays have earnt him comparisons to Cheslin Kolbe and even earnt him the nickname of “The Weekend Special”.

A big and deceptively fast full back, Fassi has three caps for South Africa and was nominated for the SA young player of the year earlier in his career. He is currently third for metres gained in the BKT URC this season.

Francois Venter

Venter was recently appointed as captain by Sharks Head Coach John Plumtree, which is a pretty good endorsement for his ability as a leader.

An experienced ex-Springbok, the centre played alongside Ospreys fly half Owen Williams at Worcester. Venter is joint third in offloads this season.

The Ospreys will make BKT United Rugby Championship history, hosting a home fixture against the Hollywoodbets Sharks on Friday 3rd November at the iconic Twickenham Stoop in London.

The match will kick off at 19:35pm and presents an unmissable chance for sports fans and rugby followers to watch the Ospreys take on South Africa’s Hollywoodbets Sharks with a new audience experiencing the BKT URC in person.
