Magners League Rounds 1-12 confirmed

The Ospreys will kick off the new season with a Friday night trip to Ulster's Ravenhill ground on September 3rd it was confirmed today.

Dates and kick-off times for all Magners League fixture up to and including Round 12, which covers the New Year period, have now been finalised with the Ospreys again handed a Friday night fixture the following weekend when they entertain Italian side Benetton Treviso at the Liberty Stadium for the first home fixture of the new 2010/11 campaign.

The standout date on the fixture list sees the welcome return to the Liberty Stadium of the Christmas derby match against the Scarlets on Boxing Day (4.10pm KO) and that game is followed just five days later by a trip to the Cardiff City Stadium to face the Blues on New Year’s Eve at 2.05pm.

Other notable dates confirmed include the trip to Parc Y Scarlets on Saturday 2nd October (8.10pm KO), and Newport Gwent Dragons’ visit to the Liberty Stadium at the end of the month on Saturday 30th October at 6.30pm, while Leinster will get their first chance of revenge for last season’s Grand Final defeat when they travel to Ospreylia on Sunday 28th November (KO 5pm).
