Zebre Parma: A look at our opponents

As we approach our next BKT URC opponents, Zebre Parma, we took a look at our opponents to get you prepared for the fixture.

Head Coach: Fabio Roselli

Captain: David Sisi

Home ground: Stadio Sergio Lanfranchi

Often referred to as ‘the XV of Italy’s North-West’, Zebre represent Emilia-Romagna, Liguria, Lombardy and Piedmont, and other clubs in the surrounding area.

Zebre currently sit at the bottom of the BKT URC table and are yet to pick up a win in the competition so far. Despite the lack of wins, the team have still managed to pick up five bonus points so far this season.

Despite the Italian team’s poor start to the season, Zebre have seen eight of their players called up to Kieran Crowley’s Italy squad.

They have won three of their last four United Rugby Championship home games against Welsh opposition and have scored 23+ points in each of their last four such fixtures.

Zebre’s Alessandro Fusco provided three try assists during their most recent BKT URC game against Edinburgh, becoming the first ever Zebre player to provide a hat-trick of assists in a single game since they joined the competition in 2012.
