Despite a valiant effort, the U16's failed in their attempt to overcome a lively Scarlets side.
Young Ospreys failed narrowly in their attempt to gain revenge for the 41-15 defeat at Stradey Park earlier in the season losing 10- 16 at Llandarcy Academy. Scarlets took an early lead through a try from leading try scorer wing Gethin Hunter converted by outside half Jordan Williams. Ospreys replied through a Sam Davies penalty but a Jordan Williams penalty resulted in the visitors arriving at half time leading 3-10.
Early in the second half the Scarlets extended their lead with a further penalty from Jordan Williams, the Young Ospreys then set their mark on the game and after some missed opportunities wing Ryan Evans crossed in the corner after an excellent break by Nathan Brooks, replacement outside half Tom Carpenter converted, however man of the match Jordan Williams secured the Scarlets victory with a well taken drop goal in an excellent game of skills ,endeavor and commitment.
