Worthington’s Osprey of the Week is back!

Last year Justin Tipuric took the inaugural Worthington’s Osprey of the Season award, but who will walk away with the trophy in 2017/18? Only you can decide!

Ospreys supporters can once again recognise their top playerevery week, and even better, be in with a chance of presenting the award to the winner at the end of the season!

As in 2016/17, every Monday there will be a poll online found via our social media channels where you, our supporters, can have your say on who you think deserves to be the Worthington’s Osprey of the Week. The poll will close on a Wednesday and the weekly winner will be revealed.

Every vote counts as at the end of the year all the votes will be added up, and the player with the most overall votes will be crowned the Worthington’s Osprey of the Season. They will be given their award at the End of Season dinner, and you could be the one presenting them with their prize!

Simply make sure you leave your email address when you vote on the poll and one lucky winner will be picked at random to attend the awards dinner, with a guest, and will present the player with their trophy.

Diane Rees, Regional Director of Molson Coors remarked on their involvement with the season long vote:

“As a long-term supporter of the region we are delighted to be able to continue supporting the Ospreys through this initiative.

“Justin Tipuric was a worthy winner of the first award, showing true Ospreys spirit across the course of the season, and we look forward to seeing who picks up the trophy in for 2017/18.”

Huw Warren, Head of Commercial, added:

“This is a fantastic opportunity for our supporters, who we know invest both their time and money in the team to have their say on who is impressing them each week and also for one lucky person, a money can’t buy opportunity, to hand over the award to the player who consistently displays the Ospreys character over the course of the season.

“We’re grateful to Worthington’s for their continued support of our Osprey of the Week vote, and is yet another example of their longstanding commitment to the Ospreys, having been a commercial partner since our inception in 2003.”
