Ospreys Rugby is pleased to announce the renewal of its long-standing partnership with Worthington's, the second oldest brewing company in the UK and part of the worldwide Molson Coors Group.
Worthington’s has been a commercial partner of the region since its inception in 2003, supporting numerous supporter/community focussed initiatives as well as featuring on the region’s shirt for a number of seasons.
The global brewing company also supports the Worthington's 2003 Club, a dedicated area in the West Stand for Ospreys season members that operates pre and post match at every home game throughout the season. It has recommitted to that sponsorship following a hugely impressive revamp of the lounge during the close season (pictured above).
Commenting on the extension of the partnership with the Ospreys, Molson Coors Regional Director, Diane Rees, said:
“It gives me enormous pleasure to be able to confirm the extension of our partnership with the Ospreys, a region we have supported from its very earliest days 14 years ago.
“A pint of Worthington’s and a game of rugby are synonymous and our support of the 2003 Club certainly fits the bill. We are delighted to once again be supporting both the Ospreys and the grassroots game that is at the heart of the region.”
Huw Warren, Head of Commercial at the Ospreys, added:
“We are delighted that Worthington’s have recommitted to the Ospreys. Like Worthington’s we are committed to the community game and grassroots rugby and both parties will be looking to activate this partnership with exciting and fun campaigns that will support this ethos across the season.
“As two businesses with a shared ethos this partnership makes absolute sense for both parties and we look forward to another successful year together, on and off the field.”
