Wing Eli Walker will miss the remainder of the season after undergoing surgery on Tuesday afternoon.
The 20-year old hasn't featured since sustaining a back injury while with the national squad during the Six Nations campaign.
Head Physio, Chris Towers, confirmed:
"Eli hasn't shown any improvement following conservative treatment of his back issue, so having taking expert advice he underwent an operation to correct the problem on Tuesday. Experience of dealing with similar issues suggests that he will be out of action for around 10 to 12 weeks."
