Elite Performance Manager, Dan Griffiths, said:
“The talent ID and selection process has seen us look at a wider pool of players than ever before, taking in club, school and college rugby, to give as many as possible a fair chance of showing what they are capable of. Some of the boys named have been added to the squad since the summer following their performances in the schools and colleges leagues.
“The players named in this squad should be congratulated, but need to understand that this is only the beginning as they need to maintain the high standards they have already achieved and continue working hard.
“Likewise, it is important that those who have missed out don’t get too disheartened. We are constantly watching, monitoring and assessing the talent in the region and if someone is excelling they will get their chance at a later date. The door is never closed on anyone.”
Training commences on Friday 17th October between 6.55am - 8.15am on the 3G at Llandarcy Academy Of Sport.
