Ashley Beck and Rynier Bernardo are targeting a return to full training in pre-season after surgery earlier this year.
Beck suffered a fracture to the ankle in February’s PRO12 defeat to Edinburgh, while Bernardo dislocated a kneecap in the LV= Cup game against Gloucester a fortnight earlier, with both players going under the knife to repair the damage.
Confirming the progress of the pair Medical Performance Manager, Chris Towers, said:
“Surgery was the recommended course of treatment for Ashley and he has responded well. His sole focus now is on completing his rehab and returning to the squad for pre-season training.
“Following surgery at the start of February, Rynier is still in the early stages of his rehab but is where we would have expected him to be. The best case scenario for Rynier now, if his progress matches the prognosis, is that he will be back in training some time mid-July.”
