Tondu Youth to fly the Ospreylian flag at

On a big weekend for rugby in the region, with the Ospreys hosting Munster in the RaboDirect PRO12 play-offs on Friday night and Aberavon travelling to Parc y Scarlets the following day to face Llanelli in the first round of the Principality Premiership Play-Offs the following day, Tondu RFC Youth will also be flying the flag for Ospreylia when they face Carmarthen Athletic in the final of the Webb Ellis Welsh Youth Cup Final at the Millennium Stadium on Saturday afternoon at 2.30pm.

They’ve reached the final on the back of wins over Aberavon Green Stars, Ruthin and Pontardawe, before overcoming Glamorgan Wanderers in the semi, to end three years of Wanderers dominance in the competition.

It’s been a hugely successful season for Tondu, who were last month crowned Bridgend and District Cup winners for a second consecutive season after a resounding 50-6 win over Porthcawl at the Old Parish Ground in Maesteg.

The trip to the Millennium Stadium on Saturday will be a fantastic experience and a great way for the club to finish the season off on a high, and everybody at the Ospreys wishes the team the very best of luck.

Tondu Squad.
