TICKETS FOR THE OSPREYS CELEBRATION AWARDS EVENING AVAILABLE

The Ospreys will open its doors to supporters and businesses to celebrate its  End of Season Celebration Awards Event to be held at the Brangwyn Hall, Swansea on Saturday, May 14th.

The new-style event will feature Live Music from Toploader and Show Hawk, while the full Ospreys playing squad, coaches and club staff will be in attendance to celebrate the conclusion of the 2021/22 season as we pay tribute to them, and our commercial and community partners.

After a hiatus of two years, this unique event will celebrate the role we play as a rugby team in our community and is a chance for you to mix with the great and the good of the Ospreys.

Hosts for the evening will be Hayley McQueen of Sky Sports and Sean Holley of BBC Wales and Premier Sports, and there will be a new format with this showcase evening split into two sections. For those supporters that wish to enjoy a more traditional dining evening, with three courses, and some stories from our hosts, tickets will start from £65 pp, with opportunities to take your seats at tables of ten and dine with players and staff alike. However, if you would prefer a more informal approach to your night, we have a new celebration ticket, priced at just £35, where you will join the event for the awards onwards, take in the player interviews and awards, and then mingle with fans as live music takes centre stage.

For the diners, with a 6pm start, you have the chance to share a table with Ospreys Head Coach, Toby Booth and a host of Ospreys, Wales and Lions legends, Alun Wyn Jones, Justin Tipuric, George North and Rhys Webb, or with your favourite Osprey player, as well as upgrade your dining choice with some great drinking packages.

From 8pm, the evening will step up, with our Celebration guests joining the event, with the Awards show taking place on stage with Hayley and Sean, followed by our auction of amazing lots for our community charity. From 9pm the night will finish with bands Toploader, (famed for their tracks Dancing in the Moonlight and Achilles Heel), and Showhawk Duo (played at Glastonbury and BBC Live lounge) performing their acoustic dance anthems till carriages at midnight.

Anthony Cole-Johnson, the Ospreys Commercial Director, said:

“More than ever we wanted to reinforce that we are an inclusive club, and offer the opportunity for all our supporters to celebrate the season with the players and staff.  Though there will still be a traditional element to the evening, we believe this new format will allow us to open our doors to as many businesses and supporters of the Ospreys as possible.

“This evening is a celebration of the Ospreys, and after the last few years of lockdowns and restrictions we want to celebrate with as many  as possible, and have some fun on the way!.”
