Centre Joe Thomas has linked up with the Dragons after agreeing a loan move to provide injury cover.
The 21-year old will look to get senior experience at Rodney Parade after making five Anglo Welsh Cup appearances for his home region.
In addition, he has scored five tries in 14 British & Irish Cup games for the Premiership Select side over the last three seasons, as well as featuring regularly for Aberavon, making 31 competitive appearances for the Wizards to date.
Dan Griffiths, Elite Development Manager at the Ospreys, said:
“The Dragons are looking for cover in midfield after a number of injuries recently and it’s a good opportunity for Joe to gain experience and show what he can do at this level, so it’s a loan that makes sense for everybody.
“Joe is a promising young player who we’ll be keeping a close eye on while he is away from our environment, and we are expecting to see him thriving while at the Dragons.”
