Ospreys players will put their reputations on the line in the build-up to Christmas when they go head-to-head with supporters in an exciting Fan V Osprey Jonah Lomu Rugby Challenge.
To celebrate the launch of the exciting new Jonah Lomu Rugby Challenge game, on Xbox and PS3 formats, we will be hosting a series of special events at the Liberty Stadium Club Shop on Wednesday evening’s between now and Christmas where you can take on an Ospreys player to see who comes out on top.
Players taking part include Adam Jones, Kahn Fotuali’i, Shane Williams, Tommy Bowe, Ryan Jones, Dan Biggar and Alun Wyn Jones.
The challenge is open to all Ospreys supporters, but given the nature of the event pre-registration is necessary, by visiting the Club Shop and signing up to take on the players.
The Fan V Osprey challenge will be held on Wednesday's 30th Nov, 7th, 14th and 21st December, between 5pm and 7pm.
Jonah Lomu’s Rugby Challenge is the most lifelike and playable rugby game yet, featuring all major competitions including RaboDirect PRO12, Aviva Premiership, T14 and Super Rugby, with 93 teams and 31 real stadia.
Shane Williams said that he’s already practicing at home ahead of the challenge:
“Like the rest of the boys I’ve been busy practicing so that I don’t get embarrassed when I take part in the challenge. We’re a competitive bunch by nature so we all want to do better than each other at this – no one wants the humiliation of being the worst in the team.
“It’s great to be able to go up against the fans playing this game because the truth is, size and rugby ability means nothing when we start playing this game – we could find ourselves on the end of a hammering from some young supporter who has been living on this for the last month. Our reputations are on the line, but it should be great fun.”
