Ospreys in the Community have teamed up with the Welsh Rugby Union to provide free rugby camps this Summer!
With community rugby making its long-awaited return, we’ll be running our rugby camps out of clubs throughout Ospreylia to help get kids back out onto the pitch after a challenging 18 months.
To make up for all that lost fun during the pandemic, our usual paid for camp is coming to a club near you for FREE! We have reserved over 300 spaces for local children’s and young people services, charities and organisations to ensure our camps are accessible and available to those who may not have had the opportunity to attend before.
Children aged between U7s and U15s can join us for a morning or afternoon session as part of our #SummerOfFun. Whether you’ve played the sport before or just fancy trying something new, camps are the perfect way to try new skills and make lots of new friends.
WRU hub officers will be delivering the camps alongside our very own staff and volunteers.
We’ll be running a morning session between 9-12pm for those aged U7s-U11s and an afternoon session between 1-4pm for those aged U12s-U15s. Girls aged between 12-18 years can also join us at one of our girls only hubs at West Swansea Hawks, East Swansea Eagles and Ogwr Hawks.
As well as enjoying one of our sessions, free food will be available at the following camps as part of the holiday hunger provision.

As well as our free camps, we’ll be back at Llandarcy Academy of Sport for our ever popular 3-day camp on Monday August 9th – Wednesday August 11th between 9am – 3:30pm for three jam packed days full of rugby fun. Important information regarding Covid-19.
We will be adhering to the government guidelines. PPE equipment will be available for all staff, hand sanitising stations will be available for everyone, and we will disinfect all equipment before and after use.
When dropping your child off to our camps, please stick to the 2m rule from other parents/guardians and staff. Please do not send your child if they are feeling unwell or any member of the household is feeling unwell or displaying Covid-19 symptoms. If you have any symptoms of Covid-19 a full refund will be issued and we will be happy to have you at our next camp once self-isolation is completed.
