With 4,000 season memberships already snapped up for the 2019/20 season, Ospreys supporters are being urged to get behind their Region in what promises to be an exciting campaign.
The Ospreys are set for a return to the top level of European competition next season following a dramatic end of season run-in that saw Allen Clarke’s team go on a five game Guinness PRO14 winning streak, including derby defeats of the Dragons, Cardiff Blues and Scarlets, to clinch the final Heineken Champions Cup spot.
The play-off victory over the Scarlets ensured that the Ospreys are Wales’ only Champions Cup representatives and, with the draw taking place next Wednesday, everyone at the Ospreys is looking forward to discovering which of the continent’s elite teams they will be pooled with, with some huge occasions guaranteed at the Liberty Stadium.
Meanwhile, Clarke has already added some exciting new faces to the squad, with Gareth Anscombe, Wales’ first choice outside half in this year’s Grand Slam success, was the first new signing confirmed. He was then joined last month by ball carrying number eight, Gareth Evans from Gloucester, with further new additions lined up to a squad that has also seen a number of key players re-signed, not least prop Nicky Smith.
