Sign up for a summer of touch!

Summer touch rugby returns to Ospreylia later this month with the return of mixed touch rugby leagues that allow men and women of all ages to enjoy competitive rugby in a fun environment.

After the success of the Swansea League last summer, there will be leagues operating across the region, with one confirmed for Swansea University Playing Fields on Sketty Lane (Ospreys West League) and another at Cwrt Herbert Playing Fields in Neath (Ospreys Central League), with a third league, Ospreys East, in Bridgend to be confirmed shortly.

The Ospreys West League gets underway on 22nd of May and will run on Tuesday’s throughout the summer between 6 and 9pm.

The Ospreys Central League also operates on Tuesday’s, with the first session on 5th June, between 6 and 8.30pm.

Applications to join are invited from any organisations, be they rugby clubs, businesses or any interested group of friends. The league is part of the Ospreys Community programme and is designed to provide an opportunity to try a new variation of the game, to keep fit in an enjoyable environment and to make new friends. It is open to anyone aged 16 and over, men and women.

The competition will be played under Federation of International Touch (FIT) rules. The Welsh Touch Association, who are responsible for the development of Touch Rugby in Wales are in full support of the initiative.
