Following the roaring success of the relaunched Ospreys Rugby Camps at Llandarcy Academy of Sport this summer, we are happy to confirm details of a new half-term camp in October.
Operated jointly by Ospreys in the Community and NPTC Group, the half-term camp will run from Monday 26th October to Wednesday 28th October, for children aged six to 12. A new ‘senior’ camp for children aged 13-17 will then be launched later in the school year.
Over 180 children enjoyed the summer camps where they learned new rugby skills and made new friends in a non-pressurised environment, as well as meeting Ospreys players. They were also presented with Ospreys goodie bags and all participating children also received a free ticket for Sunday’s PRO12 game against Munster at the Liberty Stadium.
The camp is open to boys and girls of all abilities within the age group and is run by fully qualified and DBS checked Ospreys coaches, who will focus developing a child’s rugby ability as well as their personal and social skills.
Operating over three consecutive days, children can sign up for just one day, two days or all three.
The highlight of the Rugby Camp, as always, will be the chance to meet Ospreys players who will take part in Q&As and meet the children for photos and to sign autographs. Each child registered for the Rugby Camp, which costs just £30 per day or £70 for all three days, will receive an Ospreys goodie bag.
