Shane Williams is "making good progress" as he looks to recover from the dislocated shoulder he suffered playing for Wales against South Africa in November, according to Ospreys Physio Chris Towers.
Williams was ruled out for a period of 10-12 weeks after undergoing surgery to repair the damaged shoulder, and Towers says that his rehab is going as well as could be expected.
“Shane is five weeks post-op and is coming along well. He is working hard and doing two or three sessions per day so we are rehabbing him as hard as we can.
“He’s making good progress and we aren’t ruling out a possible return for the Toulon game, which is in line with our original best case scenario, although he still has some way to go yet.”
