Seat renewal and earlybird deadline looming

The Liberty Stadium Ticket Office is set to enjoy the busiest week of the summer as Ospreys supporters race to beat the earlybird deadline this weekend.

There are just four days left for existing season members to take advantage of the fantastic prices and, also, to guarantee their current seat for 2014/15, with all seats being released for general sale next week after the earlybird deadline passes on Saturday.

The earlybird prices are the most attractive in British rugby with existing members able to renew from just £99 (the lowest price since the Ospreys moved to the Liberty Stadium in 2005), new members able to sign up for just £165 (the same as in 2010 and just £10 a game), and the fantastic new Kids Plus package offering a full season membership and a brand new child’s BLK Ospreys jersey for just £40.

With the deadline looming last weekend proved to be the busiest period so far at the Ticket Office, while more supporters than ever are taking advantage of the online facility to renew their memberships via the Ospreys website.

After next Saturday’s deadline, the Ticket Office will close for a few weeks to undergo essential maintenance and an IT upgrade, so it will be the last chance for supporters to enjoy the full benefits of earlybird prices.

2014/15 promises to be possibly the most exciting season yet for the Ospreys, with a young and talented group of player standing up to be counted in the brand new European Rugby Champions Cup, a streamlined elite competition fought out between the best 20 teams on the continent. In addition, the new look PRO12 with tougher qualification criteria for Europe will see the tension increased week in, week out, with increased jeopardy in the competition and every game carrying an extra competitive edge.

When you buy a season membership, not only do you guarantee the seat you want for every home game, ensuring you know where you’re sitting without the inconvenience of having to purchase individual tickets each match, but you also get the best value - you only need to get to half the home games in a season and you’ve got your money back!

Andrew Hore, Ospreys Chief Executive, said:

“It’s pleasing to see that rugby supporters in the region are again recognising what fantastic value our season membership packages are. The Ticket Office has been busy over the last week as supporters look to beat the earlybird deadline, and we are expecting the rest of the week to get even busier.

“It’s no secret that we want to grow our crowds at the Liberty week in, week out. The saying is that teams win matches, but supporters wins championships. The investment that supporters make into season memberships are helping us to keep this young, promising group together and will allow us to watch them as they go on what promises to be an exciting and rewarding journey over the coming seasons.”

Supporter can purchase or renew their memberships in person at the Ticket Office, via the Ticket Hotline on 0844 815 6665 or online at ospreysrugby.com/buytickets.

Changes to the membership/seating arrangements this year see the number of standard seating areas increased in both the East and West Stands, offering a wider selection of seats at the best value prices, while a new ‘Kids Plus’ package has been introduced, which includes a child season membership and brand new BLK Ospreys jersey - which will be personally handed over by an Ospreys player at an exclusive pre-season event - costing just £40.
