Season Ticket Sales up 25%!

Ospreys are delighted to report that the season ticket sales to date are up on the same time last season by more than 25%...

On the back of the historic Magners Grand Final victory in Dublin, Ospreys’ third Celtic title, and the emergence of the new Ospreys Supporters Club, the excitement about next season seems to be mounting all the time. With the mouth-watering prospect of Munster, London Irish & Toulon being our opponents in the Heineken Cup pool-stages, there’s a genuine sense of anticipation of some big attendances at these matches.

With the recently announced increase in match-day ticket prices (please see here for new prices), the 2010-11 season tickets offer exceptional value for money (as much as a 51% saving!), and with the added facility of spreading the cost of a ticket over 10 equal monthly payments (less than £18 per month for an adult in Category C), Ospreys have worked doubly hard to ensure that supporting the Ospreys next season is affordable on all fronts. To view our 2010-11 season ticket brochure (including prices), please click here!

Season-tickets cover 11 Magners League fixtures in the regular season (not play-offs), Heineken Cup group matches against Munster, London Irish and Toulon, LV= Cup pool stages and a pre-season friendly, with 15 of the 17 games guaranteed to be at the Liberty Stadium.

Following the success of the scheme last year, the Introduce-A-Friend initiative will once again be operating, potentially allowing adult supporters the chance to watch the Ospreys all season completely free of charge.

On that note, we would apologise for any confusion caused by the inadvertent omission in our season ticket brochure of qualifying terms on this offer. We had presumed that, as this was a carry-over from last season, existing season ticket holders would have been familiar with the relevant terms & conditions involved. It’s now become clear that this was not the case, and as such we have agreed to lift any restrictions that weren’t reiterated clearly.

In short, providing the friends introduced are not existing [2009-10] season ticket holders, and are within a paying category (i.e. free juniors do not qualify as part of this scheme), we are permitting the relevant discount to be applied to the renewing season ticket holder’s application (all applications must be submitted at the same time).

We would remind all season ticket applicants that a finance option IS available to all. In effect, this means that you could secure a full Category C adult season ticket for less than £18 per month (over 10 months).

To see all the finance options available, please view our Finance Application form by clicking here.
