Season members enjoy a clean sweep of prizes

Forty lucky Ospreylians have found themselves the lucky recipients of some money-can’t buy prizes just by renewing their season membership for 2015/16 nice and early.

Running for 40 days up until the first Earlybird deadline last month, the Ospreys sweepstake competition offered every existing 2014/15 member who renewed for next season prior to the deadline the chance to win one of a range of special prizes. These included the chance to watch a game from the dugout or to be included in the squad list for 2015/16 on the website and in the matchday programme.

A number of winners met at Liberty Stadium to claim their prizes including Jessica Blanck, who won the chance to enjoy a Segafredo coffee with Steve Tandy and his coaching team, and Sian Roberts who won the chance to watch an Ospreys training session with four guests.

Sian told us:

“I was shocked to receive a call saying I’ve won. It will be good to watch the players training and to see what it takes to be an Osprey. I love being a season ticket holder because I get to watch a true region play.”

Suki Hayer, Ticket Sales Manager at Ospreys Rugby added:

“We are delighted that the prizes have been so well-received by our season members. It is great to be able to give something back to those who cheer us on at every game, particularly those who have recommitted to their region so early. Everybody at the Ospreys appreciates their support.

“A big thank you must also go out to our commercial partners who have supported this campaign, Segafredo, Fiol and Nando’s, who have provided some great prizes for our lucky winners.”

Suki continues:

“If our current supporters missed the chance to renew before our Earlybird date, we have introduced a second Earlybird deadline with season memberships renewals costing just £109 standard or £170 for premium if bought before the end of this month, making an Ospreys season membership the best value in British rugby.

“Despite the obvious disappointment at missing out on the PRO12 final, everybody can take huge pride in how such a young team had developed this season. With another year under their belts, and the addition to the squad of international experience through the likes of Paul James, Brendon Leonard and Gareth Delve, next season promises to be another exciting one that we can all look forward to.
