With the biggest crowd of the season already confirmed for the 27th December Christmas derby against the Scarlets, North Stand tickets have now been released for sale.
Almost 12,000 tickets have already been snapped up for the game, with the East and West Stands now almost completely full, which has led to the North Stand being opened up.
With two weeks still to go until the big game, the biggest Liberty Stadium attendance in four years is anticipated, since more than 19,000 turned up on Boxing Day 2012 to watch the Ospreys romp to a 32-3 win over the Scarlets, an action packed match. The visitors finished with 12 men on the field that day, current Osprey Rob McCusker and ex-Osprey, Gareth Owen, shown red cards in the closing minutes.
This year’s fixture is building up to be one of the biggest in regional history with both teams sitting inside the play-off spots with seven wins from 10 games, the Scarlets having won seven on the bounce while the Ospreys have secured an incredible seven bonus point wins.
It all means there’s only one place to be this Christmas and that’s at the Liberty Stadium for Ospreys v Scarlets on Tuesday 27th December, at 3.00pm.
Tickets for the game start at just £20 adults, £5 for kids and are available to buy now at www.ospreysrugby.com/buytickets
