Martin Roberts has completed a move to Greene King IPA Championship side Bristol and will link up with his new team for the first time today.
The 29-year old scrum half was out of contract at the Ospreys at the end of this season and, with Rhys Webb close to a return to action and the form of Brendon Leonard and Tom Habberfield, along with youngsters Matthew Aubrey and Reuben Morgan-Williams coming through the pathway, the region agreed to his early release in order to allow him to secure a contract until the end of 2016-17.
Roberts played 48 games for the Ospreys over two spells with his home region, scoring three tries.
Everybody at the Ospreys would like to wish Martin the very best of luck at his new club.
