The Regions' Race Up The Charts!

Following the success of the "€˜Codi Canu"€™ series Wales' four rugby regions are preparing for a four pronged assault on the UK Pop Charts next February, via their respective regional Choirs.

Following the success of the &quote Canu' series Wales' four rugby regions are preparing for a four pronged assault on the UK Pop Charts next February, via their respective regional Choirs.

Each region's choir, made up of male and female supporters, have recorded a single, which will be released on February 2nd 2009, but is available to pre-order NOW!

The songs that the regions have chosen are:
Blues Choir &quote; Delilah
Ospreys Choir &quote; Cwm Rhondda
Dragon Choir - Calon Lan
Scarlets Choir " Yma O Hyd

Every pre-order received will count towards the single's chart position when The Official Chart is announced on BBC Radio 1 on Sunday 8th February, which coincides with the start of Wales's defence of their 6 nations crown away to Scotland.

The challenge is set to see which region can reach the highest position in the UK Top 40!

We want all Ospreys fans to back their choir and help them race up the chart and see how high we can get. The Ospreys choir will be performing live at theLiberty Stadium on Friday 9th Jan, ahead of the top of the table clash against European Champions, Munster, so get along and support them. They will also be warming up in the Ospreylia Lounge ahead of the game from 6.00pm

The overall aim of the project is to get all four region's songs into the Official UK Chart for the start of the Six Nations tournament, which will demand airplay on BBC Radio 1 and 2 as well as national commercial radio stations.
