RaboDirect PRO12 is back...

RaboDirect PRO12 rugby returns to the Liberty Stadium this weekend when the Ospreys entertain Ulster on Saturday evening (KO 6.30pm).

With over 9,200 season memberships snapped up there’s going to be a big crowd for the first home game of our PRO12 title defence, and there’s plenty going on off the field to keep everyone entertained on what promises to be a great evening.

The new-look Ospreys Supporters Village will be open for business from 4.30pm, completely undercover to make sure it’s the place to meet ahead of the game whatever the weather, with a bottle bar and BBQ to keep everyone refreshed.

Our official radio partner, The Wave, will also be broadcasting from the Village, while the RaboDirect PRO12 will also be on display with fans able to get their picture with the silverware.

The Kids Corner will again be in operation with inflatable fun while our young fans will be able to sign up for Ozzie’s Army, the new Ospreys kids club.

New for this season, supporters in the Village will be able to take part in our brand new Mystery Matchday Draw. Tickets for the draw will only be available from the Village, at a minimum donation of 50p per ticket with all proceeds going to our official charity for 2012/13, the Stepping Stones Appeal. Each home game there will be a fantastic prize available, with prizes including a chance to meet your favourite player, pairs of match tickets, signed Ospreys memorabilia, Club Shop vouchers, Executive Club passes and 2003 Club membership.

The mystery is each week the prize will be unknown until the half-time draw, which will take place on the pitch. You’ve got to be in it to win it!

At half-time, non-playing members of the squad including Ryan Jones, Eli Walker, Tom Smith and Adam Jones will be parading the PRO12 trophy around the pitch, so make sure you stay in your seat at the break to say well done to your heroes for their efforts last season.

Post-match, the Ospreys Supporters Club are again inviting supporters to their nest in the Riverside Lounge to mix and mingle with fans, along with a number of players who will also be heading across after the final whistle.

Tickets for the game are on sale at the Liberty Stadium Ticket Office, online at www.ospreysrugby.com/buytickets and via the Ticket Hotline on 0844 815 6665.
