We're pleased to announce confirmed fixture details for the two remaining crucial pool matches in the Heineken Cup: Our away fixture against USAP is now on Saturday 17th January, 4:35pm (local time), and our final fixture against former champions, Leicester Tigers, will take place a week later on Saturday 24th January, 5:35pm. Regardless of the outcome of our penultimate fixture, and indeed of the match between Leicester & Treviso, our match against Tigers will be a winner-takes-all pool-decider, and we expect therefore this game to be a sell-out. (To explain, should we lose away to Perpignan and fail there to secure a losing bonus point, whilst Leicester secure maximum points for their home match against Treviso, that would leave us on 15 match points, and Leicester on 20 match points leading into the final game. This therefore would require us to beat Leicester with maximum points and prevent them from securing a losing bonus point, under which circumstances, tournament rules apply, and we would go through on the basis of securing a losing bonus point away at Welford Road on 12/10/08 [please refer to ERC regulations for more on this]). Given the significance of this match, we are sending Leicester Tigers a full 2250 allocation of tickets this evening, and we strongly urge you to get your order in for tickets / hospitality as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. We know a number of you who left things late were disappointed at not securing tickets for our now sold-out fixture against local rivals, Scarlets, so here's a gentle reminder! Tickets are on sale as from tomorrow morning (Wednesday 17th December) from our Liberty Stadium Ticket Office.
