The Ticket Office reported a very busy day on Saturday as tickets for next Friday's Magners League play off semi-final went on sale at 10am.
With a constant stream of traffic through the doors and fans queuing to get their hands on tickets for the historic first ever play-off game, it's clear that Friday evening is set to be a special occasion.
Ospreys Managing Director, Roger Blyth, commented:
"We’ve had an excellent first day of sales, especially considering that it was only 9pm the previous night that we secured the home semi and we won’t even know who we are playing until Sunday night. Clearly, it’s going to be a major operation this week to sell tickets, but all the staff are geared up and everything should go very smoothly. Next Friday’s game is going to be a historic occasion and we want as many of our fans as possible getting to the Liberty Stadium to get behind the boys as we look to book a place in the first ever Magners League play-off final on May 29th and hopefully, they can help us to end the season with some silverware.”
Tickets for the game, which is NOT covered by the Ospreys Season-Ticket, are available to purchase from the Ticket Office or via the Ticket Hotline on 08700 400 004, between the hours of 10am and 6pm from Monday. Alternatively, from 10am they will be available to purchase online here.
Season ticket holders will have first refusal on their existing seats (to purchase at matchday face value) until close of business on Wednesday 12th May (6pm). After this point, all reserved seats will be released for general sale.
We can confirm that tickets will be priced in accordance with our usual ticket pricing policy throughout the season so far, with tickets priced from £18 for adults, £10 concessions and £3 juniors.
Please also note that as this is a Magners League hosted event (as opposed to a league home match), and as such we regret we won’t be able to offer discounted tickets to any of our supporters, as we’re obligated according to Tournament Rules to offer tickets at an identical price both to home & away supporters. All tickets must therefore be offered strictly according to our ticket pricing policy.
