Pencoed, Pontarddulais and Tonmawr take U15's

The Ospreys Annual U15's Finals Day at Llandarcy Academy of Sport saw three teams lift trophies last Sunday.

The Shield Competition was won by Tonmawr who whitewashed Mumbles and scored 53 points in the process. Tonmawr were deserved winners but Mumbles kept on fighting for points until the finish.Luke Williams and Callum Sullivan scored four of their team’s nine tries between them, as they both grabbed braces.

Pontarddulais edged a close encounter against Glynneath in the Plate Final. Both teams scored four tries each with Matthew Aubry’s boot making the telling difference for Pontarddulais, with two conversions and two penalties.

It was just three points between the sides as Pencoed secured the Ospreys Cup against a tough Bonymaen outfit. Matthew Ellis slotted the vital penalty which gave Pencoed the victory.

Well done to all the teams that have taken part throughout the competition and congratulations to the winners who will parade their trophies at the Liberty Stadium on the day of the Ospreys v Benetton Treviso game.
