Ospreys Senior Women have rounded off their preparations for the new season, naming a squad for the opening rounds of games following a successful day at the Regional Rugby Festival in Ystrad Mynach.
On a big day of rugby the Ospreys went through the festival unbeaten, winning five of their six games and drawing one. Particularly impressive was their defensive work, only conceding one try all day, and they did the double over the Scarlets who were last years Regional Champions.
Off the back of this festival the Ospreys Squad for the 15/16 season has now been named. These girls will play three Regional fixtures this side of Christmas, the fixtures are:
25.10.2015- Cardiff Blues home, 2.30pm KO
22.11.2015- Dragons away, TBC
20.12.2015- Scarlets away, 2.30pm KO
There will be another trial held at Llandarcy Academy of Sport after Christmas to strengthen the squad for the final three fixtures once the Wales Six Nations team has been announced.
