Ospreys West victorious in first Under 16's derby

The Ospreys West Under 16's Development team beat their counterparts from the East in the first of the two inter-regional derbies this week.

Llandarcy was the venue for an entertaining and fast flowing game as the Ospreys Under 16's development sides from the East and West faced each other in their regional age grade league game last night.

However their rivals were not giving up that easily and as their replacements took to the field the East side came back strongly into the game. The fresh legs giving them impetus to cross the line several more times to gain another 19 points.

Two more late tries from the team from the West side of Ospreylia secured their deserved victory though as the game ended Ospreys East Under 16's Development 26 - 38 Ospreys West .
