The Under 16's West Development side run in 5 tries over their regional counterparts
The Ospreys West Under 16 Development team got their season underway last night as they hosted the Dragons Under 16 Development side at Llandarcy.
Supporters who braved the rain didn't have to wait long for the scoring to get underway with Llyr Gealy crossing the line after just 7 minutes. Dan Bennett adding extra points with a successful conversion.
The Ospreys West continued to dominate in attack as well as defending well and with half time approaching Tiann Jones scored the Eyasses' second try. In difficult conditions the try went converted.

It was a difficult start to the second half as Ospreys prop Scott Hill was shown a red card after just two minutes but despite their one man advantage the team from the East couldn't hold out the home side's powerful play.
In the final quarter Dan Hiscocks scored a brace of tries as he crossed the line twice in five minutes. Josh Thomas added one conversion before himself bringing the scoring to a close with a try in the dying minutes of the match
