The Ospreys will be wearing the new 2012/13 away jersey into battle for the first time this weekend when they travel to Welford Road to face Leicester Tigers in a crunch Heineken Cup tie on Sunday afternoon.
With Tigers opting to wear a black and carbon shirt as their home jersey in Europe instead of the more familiar red, white and green, it gives Ospreys fans their first opportunity to see their heroes in this season's alternative strip of white and black with lime green trim.
The strip has gone down well with supporters who have been snapping up replicas since it’s launch in pre-season and they will be hoping that it brings the team the same luck of some of its predecessors, with the Ospreys having worn their alternative white strip at the RDS in Dublin for the 2010 and 2012 Celtic League finals when the region pulled off two stunning and historic victories over Leinster to secure silverware.
Supporters travelling to Welford Road on Sunday can pick up their Ospreys away jersey from the Club Shop as well as at our Online Store, priced at £39.99 for Children and £49.99 for Adults.
