The Ospreys have handed out an exclusive invite to 2012/13 season members to join them for a special training session and photo shoot at the Liberty Stadium ahead of the crunch PRO12 game against Benetton Treviso next weekend.
The Italian side come to Ospreylia for a match that kicks off at 6.30pm on Saturday 13th April, and in the build-up to the big game the region will be throwing open the doors to the final Captain’s Run the morning before.
All current season members are invited along to watch the Ospreys train and then be part of a very special one-off team photo, taken in the East Stand, which will feature the players and season members together.
With children still off school next week and parents looking for things to keep them entertained, it provides a free morning out for all season members and a chance for our younger fans to see their Ospreys heroes close-up at the home of regional rugby in south west Wales.
It’s only the second time ever that the Ospreys have opened up the final Captain’s Run on the eve of a game, and is the first time that they’ve done so exclusively for season members, as a way of saying thank you for the fantastic support received by the team throughout the season.
All supporters will be housed in the East Stand where they can meet Ozzie the Osprey ahead of the training session, while there will be the chance to win some free Ospreys gifts through the slingshot challenge.
It’s guaranteed to be a fantastic morning for all season members so make sure you are there to be part of a one-off Ospreys team photo which they can collect the following day for FREE as a permanent reminder of the exciting 2012/13 season.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR 2012/13 SEASON MEMBERS ATTENDING THE OPEN CAPTAIN’S RUN AND PHOTO SESSION
- All 2012/2013 Season Members are invited to the Ospreys open Captain’s Run and Supporter photo at the Liberty Stadium next Friday, April 12th. Turnstiles open at 10.45am with the team due out at 11am. Please remember to bring your season membership card to allow entrance and make your way to the East Stand to be seated.
- Following the Captain’s Run the team will sit in the East Stand for a group photo with the fans. The poster will then be available for FREE to all fans at the match versus Treviso the following day!
- 2012/2013 Season Members will also receive a double discount at the Club Shop on Friday, giving them 20% discount on marked prices for one day - again you need to present your members card for your discount
- Food and drink concessions will also be open in the East Stand
