Ospreys vs Leinster Rugby: Ones to Watch

With the Leinster game fast approaching, we looked into some of their standout players this year.

From the World Rugby Player of the Year to a tricky centre that knows how to make a man miss, here’s this week’s Ones to Watch.

Josh Van Der Flier

Josh Van Der Flier is one of the more obvious Ones to Watchers you’ll see this season. Commonly referred to as the Dutch Disciple, Van Der Flier has been lighting up rugby on both the club and international stage this year. The flanker was also recently crowned World Player of the Year, beating the likes of Antoine Dupont to the award. Need we say more?

Garry Ringrose

A leader of men, Ringrose has been tipped to replace Jonny Sexton as Ireland captain when he retires. The Irishman is amongst the league leaders in defenders beaten in the BKT URC and is one of the top finishing centres in rugby.

Jordan Larmour

“The Cheslin Kolbe of Irish Rugby” - A bold comparison but not unwarranted. Larmour returned from injury recently and has made his impact known in the last few weeks. The rapid winger can sidestep, break ankles and most importantly, score tries. He picked up two against Connacht and was rewarded with Player of the Match for his troubles.
