Two late tries in a tight match gave the Ospreys Under 18's their first win in the Regional Age Grade season.
On Sunday the Eyasses welcomed RGC Under 18's to Llandarcyfor the second round of the Regional Age Grade Championship and with just five minutes of the game played the home side were ahead courtesy of a Tom Howell penalty kick.
It was a tight game with two evenly matched sides, and soon Armani Roberts of RGC had evened the scores with his own successful penalty kick.
Despite efforts from both teams, neither could complete their moves as they battled against a strong defensive showing from their opposition. The next score coming after an infringement by the visitors let Tom Howell line up in front of the posts. His successful kick meant the Ospreys U18's retook the lead.
That lead however didn't last long as with 7 minutes remaining in the first half, prop Sam Wainwright crashed over the try line for RGC. Roberts' conversion went wide but with no more scoring before the whistle the visitors took a narrow lead into the break.

Just after half time indiscipline cost the Eyasses with George Jawad receiving a yellow card and Roberts for RGC scoring a successful penalty.
RGC couldn't make the most of their one man advantage and when the Ospreys Under 18's were back up to full strength it wasn't long before Jonathan Bayliss raced over for their first try of the game. Howell's missed conversion meant they entered the final quarter tied at 11 all.
However the home side had been buoyed by the score and 7 minutes before full time Callum Carson also got on the scoreboard with the Ospreys second try of the afternoon. Replacement Cai Evans successfully converted and brought the scoring to an end.
