Speaking ahead of the game, head coach Tom Snelgrove said:
“It's always an exciting time of year to start the RAG process , and this season even more so with a new and exciting playing and coaching team coming together.
As a coaching team we have seen good developments from the players over the last six weeks, but the true test will come tomorrow against a strong Blues team. The Blues North are traditionally a good yardstick to measure yourselves against so to have them first up will be interesting. However important the result is, the key for us a coaching staff is to ensure that each player continues to develop and performs to their potential, whilst enjoying the experience.
