Speaking ahead of the game head coach Colin Beaton said:
“After an excellent home win against Dragons North last Wednesday we have made a few changes to allow all the players in the squad some game time and help the coaches find out what our strongest team will be.
“It was great to see the players adapting to our new defensive structure and they were willing to have a go and play with great tempo. There is still all to play for as far as selection is concerned, so we cannot let our standards drop.”
