Ospreys toast new deal with FIOL

Leading Prosecco brand FIOL have committed to a new two-year commercial deal with the Ospreys, that will see the Italian company continuing as official events partner of the region.

Their distinctive logo will continue to feature on the front of the team’s match day shorts for another two seasons, while FIOL continue as an official supplier to the Liberty Stadium.

Ospreys Commercial Manager, Yarnie Guthrie, said:

“Our relationship with FIOL is a perfect example of how a commercial relationship with the Ospreys can grow year on year and be about more than just sponsorship.

“When we launched our partnership three years ago it was always with a view to taking it to another level. With FIOL now heavily involved in our business all year round as events partner, and supplying the Liberty Stadium, they are a big part of what we are about.

“Ospreys Rugby have always been pretty clear that we see Italy as an important market for us commercially, with real potential for rugby to grow in the country. It says a lot about the strength of our brand that an exciting and dynamic Italian business like FIOL sees Ospreys Rugby as a suitable platform to grow their own brand in the UK.

“We look forward to continuing to work closely with FIOL over the next two seasons and beyond.”

Prosecco is a traditional sparkling white wine, usually made from Glera, or ‘Prosecco’ grapes, in Veneto, to the north of Treviso.
