Head Coach, Steve Tandy, commented:

Theres one game to go in the regular season and in this part of the world it doesnt get bigger than Scarlets v Ospreys so Ive no doubt its going to be a great occasion in front of a big crowd.

It was a huge win for us against Ulster last week which put us in control of our destiny and thats all you can ask for after Round 21. We know that we had a bit of a bump in the road through April but the win has given that breathing space and we are heading west aiming to finish the job. We dont want to leave anything to chance.

Whats important to us now is starting to build some momentum. If we are going to extend the season to the end of May in the Aviva, we have to do it the hard way as it will mean three games on the road against sides currently above us in the table. Thats the challenge and we are looking forward to it. You have to enjoy it, these end of season fixtures are why we play the game.

The Scarlets have been the form team in the PRO12 in the latter part of the season and will feel that they are favourites for this one with a big, vocal crowd behind them. Weve got to front up and with a fair bit of travelling support there as always, we want to give them something to shout about.
