Ospreys Head Coach, Steve Tandy, said:

“It doesn’t get much tougher than going away to the champions but we are up for it. We know that it was extremely disappointing last weekend but you can’t afford to dwell on things like that. You’ve got to face up to the challenge, work on putting things right and do what you’ve got to do to ensure there’s no repeat of a performance which fell well short of the standard expected of an Ospreys team.

“Saying that, the reaction has been a good one, and with more of the World Cup boys coming back into the environment this week, they’ve been able to lift everybody. There’s been some straight talking and honesty, and there’s been a bit of an edge about the place. We know that we have to be better, that there has to be more accuracy and attention to detail in what we do. People have to be clear about what their role is, what is expected of them. When that clarity isn’t there, you get the confusion we saw at times last weekend.

“We are going to one of the toughest places in the PRO12, there’s going to be a full house, and they will want to pick up some points to improve their own position as they have also been badly hit by the World Cup. That should make for a cracking contest, and we’ll have to be up a few notches from where we’ve been so far this season.”
