The Ospreys joined Neath Port Talbot Council’s waste team to pick up rubbish and recycling across Baglan this morning as part of their ongoing commitment to serving the Ospreylian community.
Last week, players completed rubbish and recycling pick-ups in Swansea and Bridgend and this morning, saw Olly Cracknell, De Kock Steenkamp, Dan Baker, Dafydd Howells and Sam Parry involved in the Baglan Moors collection.
Olly said: “It was an early start but a great work-out for us this morning. A huge thanks to the recycling teams for showing us the ropes, they do a great job every day and we’ve enjoyed getting involved and giving a hand.”
Leader of Neath Port Talbot Council Cllr Ali Thomas OBE was present to welcome the players. He commented:
“I'd like to give my thanks to the Ospreys players who joined our recycling collection operatives working in Baglan moors this morning. They turned out early to tackle the dark, wet weather conditions which our crews regularly work in and were in great spirits, really getting stuck in".
