A busy and exciting period over Christmas and the New Year, saw the Ospreys beat the Scarlets and secure a bonus point! Shortly afterwards we travelled to Cardiff to play the capital city club, on New Year’s Day and for what turned out to be a thoroughly entertaining game! We picked up a valuable win and we were, in all fairness, unlucky not to come away with all 5 points! During a period of sustained pressure during the second half, littered with penalties in and around the opposition’s 22, one might question why more yellow cards were not forthcoming! Still, 9 points out of a possible 10 collected over the Christmas period and only 1 loosing bonus point conceded, should be viewed as a positive return!
Turning to tonight’s game, we don’t see many fixtures tougher than Leinster and I am sure that all Ospreys supporters are more than aware of the magnitude of tonight’s challenge! Leinster are a good team, with strength in depth right across their squad. We all need to get behind the boys tonight. come on swansea.Com Stadium, let’s hear you!
