With the 2010-11 season already upon us, Ospreys Rugby are pleased to confirm some changes to the official supporter travel arrangements for the coming season.
Over the last few seasons, Ospreys Rugby have worked hard at seeking to arrange travel for supporters around the region to home games at the Liberty Stadium. Year on year, we’ve had to subsidise these initiatives, though year on year we’ve felt it was a worthy investment. This coming season however, we wanted to announce some exciting plans moving forward.
The pre-season has seen the launch of the Ospreys Supporters Club (OSC). As Ospreys Rugby, we are thrilled with this development, and are partnering with them closely to ensure we can assist them in the various initiatives they’re progressing.
One of the projects they’re advancing is supporter transport to games at the Liberty Stadium. Via the network of Regional Reps & Area Contacts, the OSC are looking to coordinate travel in whatever form most suits the supporters in your area. This could mean car-sharing, minibus or coach hire, or simply the arrangement of a central meeting point for fans travelling to games.
