Ospreys response to recent local press reports in respect of its relationship with Neath RFC
In respect of this matter, a spokesman for the Ospreys said:
"The Ospreys would prefer to take a dignified stance dealing with contractual failures on behalf of any of its constituent clubs, as a result we do not intend to detail these matters further. The Ospreys take a far wider view of development of rugby within the region, of which Neath RFC is but one constituent part and we are in ongoing discussions with Neath's two equal shareholders, who appear to have rather differing views on current issues at the club."
