Ospreys set for Portugal

The Ospreys will make the Algarve their home for the next six days as Allen Clarke takes the team to Portugal for a pre-season training camp.

A traveling party of 56 will be staying at Browns Sports & Leisure Club, Vilamoura, for an intense period of activity in preparation for the new season.

Having reported for duty to Llandarcy Academy of Sport on Monday, the likes of new signings George North and Scott Williams, along with Alun Wyn Jones and Bradley Davies, will link up with the full squad at the warm weather training facility.

Established in 2000, the facility was designed and constructed to provide excellent training, accommodation and support conditions to all athletes from grass root teams to national professional teams in a safe and secure yet relaxed environment.

The Ospreys follow in the footsteps of clubs like Saracens, Gloucester, Bath, Ulster and Clermont Auvergne, as well as the English and Irish national squads, in spending time at Browns.

Ospreys TV will be in camp along with the players and management to bring you exclusive video content from Portugal every day.
